The Goddard School for Early Childhood Education and Development in Ellicott City, Maryland selected Trex Fencing to provide privacy and security on a portion of its property. Local fence contractor, Tri County Fence & Decks, installed the fence. The project encompassed approximately 300 feet of 6 ft. and 8 ft. tall fencing and gates.
The school chose Woodland Brown, the darkest Trex Seclusions Fencing color, for a distinct beauty that compliments the wooded area where the new facility resided. It also provides an elegant contrast to Ameristar ornamental fencing installed on other parts of the property.
Trex’s versatility allowed the fence contractor to adapt to the transitions on the property. The rails were cut easily to follow the sloping ground on the back of the property. Angle adaptors for brackets also allowed the fence to shift on a slight angle along the driveway. While Trex also can be “stair-stepped” like rigid panel fences, the fact that it is a component-based system gives the installer options in adapting to local conditions. Fence panel systems limit an installers ability to provide solutions in the field. That’s why Trex is often the best solution for light commercial projects. Very few properties are perfectly level or have no transitions. While wood offers similar adaptability, it also requires a tremendous amount of maintenance. Trex offers the best solution overall in fencing.
